Pakistan Defeat Maldives to Win Asian Youth Girls Netball Plate Division

Pakistan secured a strong win against Maldives in the final of the Asian Youth Girls Netball Championship 2025 (Plate Division Cup), held in Jeonju, South Korea. The final score was 60-35 in Pakistan’s favor, marking a perfect run of seven consecutive victories in the tournament.

From the start of the match, Pakistan took control, leading 17-5 in the first quarter. They continued to dominate each period, stretching the lead to 34-17 by halftime and 45-23 by the end of the third quarter.

Maldives couldn’t recover at any stage, as Pakistan maintained their lead throughout the game.

Players like Leya Raza Shah, Alisha Naveed, Sumayya Kouser, Haleema, Jasmine Farooq, Alina, Amani, Parisa, and Farah Rasheed played key roles in this victory. After the match, the Chairman of the Pakistan Netball Federation Mudassir Arian, President Sameen Malik, and Secretary General Muhammad Riaz congratulated the team on their outstanding performance.
