Pakistan Announces Squad for T20 Series Against Bangladesh

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, which will be played from July 20 to 24 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. Salman Ali Agha will continue as the captain of the team, as confirmed in the official press release.

The squad includes a blend of experienced players and young talent. Well-known names like Fakhar Zaman and Faheem Ashraf have been retained, while newcomers such as Hassan Nawaz and Salman Mirza have been given a chance to prove themselves. Two wicketkeepers, Mohammad Haris and Sahibzada Farhan, have also been selected, providing flexibility in both batting and wicketkeeping roles.

The PCB stated that this selection was made by the Men’s National Selection Committee with the team’s strategy and future goals in mind. The squad for the white-ball series against the West Indies will be announced separately.

The team will be supported by a full management staff led by manager Naveed Akram Cheema and head coach Mike Hesson. The coaching team includes Ashley Noffke (bowling), Muhammad Hanif Malik (batting), and Shane McDermott (fielding). Other support staff include a physiotherapist, fitness coach, analyst, media and security managers, team doctor, and a masseur.
